Kabouters

General
A kabouter-unit is usually called a kring. A kring (plural: kringen) consist of between 24 and 30 girls and 5 or 6 leaders.

Theme
As mentioned on the agegroups-page, kabouters play in a fantasy-land called Bambilië. You can see a chart of Bambilië here. Many towns are on this map, but new towns are sometimes "discovered". The stories of Bambilië leave much room for imagination.
It would take to much time to describe all the towns on this map, but we'll describe some to give you an idea:
Vlitter is the city where all the major newspapers, radiostations and televisionstudio's can be found.
Miegenum is the town of inventors. Most of the inventors here work secretly, so nobody can steal the plans for their inventions. The people of Miegenum like to solve riddles.
Kristar is one of two towns on the border of Bambilië. In Kristar you get to see many people of different cultures. If you'd like to try foreign recipes, Kristar is the place to be.

Activities
Activities for kabouters often take place in one (or more) places in Bambilië.When you visit Vlitter you could be invited to make a commercial for scouting and when you go to Miegenum maybe some inventor will ask you to test his latest machine
Not all activities take place in Bambilië. A kabouter-unit also laerns the basics of some scouting-techniques like first-aid and hiking.
While on summercamp many groups play in a different story-setting. They could be knights working for King Arthur, or trapped in a Jumanji-like game.
