Scouts

general
Scouts-units consist of 20 to 30 people. Scouts-units are often co-ed, but boys-only or girls-only units also exist. Scouts is the name used most of the times, but some boys-only units still call themselves verkenners and girls-only units padvindsters. A scout-unit is normally called troep (troop); some girls-only units call themselves vendel.

activities
Aside from the traditional scouting techniques (hiking, first aid, knots, camping)
Scoutingcamps are very important to many scouts-units. Take a look at our camping-page for more information about this.
